Glossary

The words the product uses, in the sense it uses them.

Activity ledger — the per-page audit of who changed what, when. The Record companion.

Agent — a workforce expert (hired) or a voice (convened). Assessed L1–L5.

Cabinet — the five officers present on every surface: Chief of Staff, Chief Ontology Officer, Chief Service Officer, Chief Alignment Officer, Chief Harness Officer. Not for hire.

Chief of Staff — the default advisor on the canvas and the composition planner behind Consult.

Cohort Training — the interactive first-sign-in walkthrough in six chapters.

Command — the tenant admin surface: invite people, name reviewers, see usage.

Companion family — Document · Memory · Record · Evidence · VERIFY.

Consult — a specialist answers: 1

(one expert) or Panel (three to five, synthesised by the Chief of Staff).

Credits — the unit consults and services are priced in; shown before you click.

Deliver — the third move: a specialist writes onto the page; a person signs.

Gate — a decision point where a named person approves or sends back a version.

GROUNDED — an action that retrieves before it writes (Fact check, Check citations).

Hub — the landing page; five layouts (Learner, Skeptic, Optimizer, Orchestrator, Observer).

Inbox — everything across your workspaces that needs you.

Job / Mission / Unit of Work — service levels SV04 / SV03 / SV05.

Library — a workspace's work products, knowledge, templates, pinned items and collections.

ODI — the 0–1 score Verify gives a version for how well it is defended on its evidence.

Orient — the first move: asking on a page. Also the name of the right-panel tab.

Quick / Refer — the two assist depths in the composer.

Refer — what VITAL does instead of pretending: to a source, a specialist, or a person.

Roster — the agents you've hired.

Routing recommendation — the Chief of Staff's proposal of who should answer, with reasons and prices; you decide.

Stance pill — the one-word position each panel member lands on.

Tenant — your company inside VITAL.

Verify — six layers: Validate · Evidence · Review · Identify · Fact-check · Yield.

Workspace — where a launch lives: pages, members, deliverables, ledger.
