The scale

Level Title How many on the bench
L1 Head of Function 41
L2 Head of Department 81
L3 Director 164
L4 Manager 878
L5 Task Specialist 340

Counts as shown on the Agents family page; they change as the bench grows.

What a level means

An L3 Director such as the Regulatory Strategist or Global HEOR Director owns a judgement call and is briefed like one. An L4 Manager such as the Payer Landscape Analyst owns a deliverable. An L5 Task Specialist does one thing well and is usually composed into a Job by someone above it. Consult 1

routes to L3–L4 most of the time; panels mix levels on purpose.

Cabinet is not a level

The five officers — Chief of Staff and the four chiefs — sit at AL00 Cabinet and AL01. They are present on every surface and are not for hire. See The Chief of Staff.

Reading a level on a card

Agent cards show the level as a mono chip beside the department: L4 · MARKET ACCESS & PRICING. The profile's hero line repeats it: Chief Medical Officer · Medical Affairs · AL01 Head of Function. Reading an agent profile.
