The companion family

Every document has four companions — Memory, Record, Evidence, VERIFY — derived from it and exported with it.

Five things, one document

Companion What it holds State pills you'll see
Document The page itself, versioned (v.1, v.2…). v.n
Memory What the workspace and the Chief of Staff carry forward from it — evidence, framings, in-flight topics. CURATED
Record The review record — ledger rows, gates, sign-offs. DERIVED
Evidence Sources and claims, graded and resolved. DERIVED
VERIFY The six-layer result on the current version. DERIVED · STALE after an edit

Where you see it

On an imported document, a companion tree card sits at the top of the page: Document v.1 · Memory CURATED · Record DERIVED · Evidence DERIVED · VERIFY DERIVED. On any page, the right-panel tabs are the companions: Activity is the Record, Sources is the Evidence, Verify is VERIFY.

Stale, then fresh

After you accept an edit, Activity writes edit applied · VERIFY marked stale. Re-run Verify from the panel to refresh it; the export always says which version the VERIFY result belongs to.
