New workspace
New opens a dialog. Name the work. You land on that workspace’s home.
Use New → New workspace, or the add control on the Workspaces row in the sidebar. Both open the same dialog.
Name the workspace after the work, not the department: a launch, a dossier, a board prep. If you leave the name empty, the product saves Untitled workspace.
Create posts the room, shows a toast, and opens the workspace home. A workspace from New is private: it appears under Workspaces, outside any teamspace.
To nest a workspace under a teamspace at create time, use the add control on that teamspace in the sidebar. The dialog title becomes New workspace in teamspace, and the new room is shared under that nest. You still add members yourself.
