New → Document opens an empty page in the workspace you pick. Help on that page is Orient.
New → Document. Pick a workspace. You land on a blank canvas.
The page title is the workspace name, an em dash, and the full calendar date. Rename it when you know what the page is for.
A Document is not a Consultation. Creating one does not hire a specialist and does not start a research spine. You write. You structure. You cite when you have sources.
Where help lives
Stay on the page and open Orient. Use Guide when you want the Chief of Staff on this page. Use Ask AI for slash, Floating AI, selection sparkle, and the block handle authoring leaves. Use New → Consultation when you already know you want a named specialist, a panel, or a Catalogue method.
