Knowledge pack is not Memory
Workspace knowledge is notes you add to this room. Memory is what the platform remembers about you and an agent.
Two different stores sit near each other in settings. Do not mix them.
Workspace knowledge
Workspace settings → Workspace knowledge. Paste a title and a body. Add to this workspace. Those notes stay in this workspace. They are not copied into another workspace. Only people who can write the canvas can add them.
Orient and Consult are built to retrieve this pack before platform RAG. Isolation across workspaces holds: a note you add in one room does not come back from a query in another. A Consultation Research run does not yet reliably cite the pack in the answer. Treat the pack as the place you put the brief, not as a promise that every run will quote it.
This is not a full file library yet. Paste and markdown are what the form accepts today. Canvas pages are not auto-indexed on every save.
Memory
Memory is what the platform remembers about you and an agent: preferences, corrections, working context. It is gated by consent and stays private until you promote it. Domain-memory sharing is a separate toggle on the same settings page. Shared memory on the workspace home is that Memory surface, not the pack.

Law
RAG store is not the memory store. Uploaded or pasted notes go in the pack. “What we learned working here” stays in Memory.
