Read a run

The draft is the least important thing a run produces.

Before you start

Have a finished Brief or Panel open.

Steps
  1. Read the answer, then open SOURCES in the right panel: every reference, internal or external, with where it was used.

1 This turn, or the whole page.2 How much of the answer relies on this source.3 Every claim, with its source number.

  2. Open VERIFY: the checks the run passed and the ones pending.

1 Six checks on every run.2 Passed, or pending.

  3. Find the gaps: the answer marks what it could not source. What a run refuses to claim tells you more than what it does.

  4. For a Panel, read the Tension and Dissent sections before the summary: where the experts diverge is your risk register.

  5. Add to page, then comment on anything your reviewer needs to see.

What you should see

An answer you can forward with its evidence trail attached.

If it did not work

If Sources is empty, the run was answered from memory; ask the expert to research it.
